Who We Serve

Right-sized for the
organizations that need us most

We work best with organizations that are too complex for IT support alone — and not yet large enough to justify a full executive bench.

Growth-Stage Businesses

10–250 employees moving fast

You have outgrown ad-hoc IT but are not ready for a full-time executive. Technology decisions are happening without the right leadership — and it is starting to cost you.

No internal technology leadership
Reactive IT — always fighting fires
Vendor decisions made without strategy
Nonprofits & Foundations

Mission-driven, budget-conscious

Technology increasingly determines your capacity to deliver impact — but budget constraints make a full-time executive impossible. We provide the same caliber of leadership at a cost that respects your mission.

Acquiring or integrating a business

Technology due diligence and post-acquisition integration require a practitioner who can assess risk objectively, communicate findings clearly, and build the integration roadmap before day one.

Why It Works

What changes when you have
the right technology leadership

Organizations that engage Cavalier consistently report the same four shifts — typically within the first 90 days.

01

Technology spend drops — fast

Most organizations carry 20–40% in redundant or mispriced software. A Cavalier assessment finds it. Clients average a 35% reduction in technology spend within the first year.

02

Decisions become proactive, not reactive

With a 12–18 month technology roadmap in place, your team stops fighting fires and starts executing strategy. Every investment has a rationale and a measurable outcome.

03

Security becomes a strength

A documented, tested security program satisfies insurance requirements, enterprise client audits, and board expectations — increasingly non-negotiable for any serious organization.

04

Leadership gains a trusted technology voice

When your board or investors ask technology questions, you have a practitioner who can answer with authority — in the room, on the call, or in writing.

Common Questions

What prospects ask before they reach out

Engagements typically range from $3,000 to $8,000 per month depending on scope, hours, and complexity — a fraction of the $250,000–$350,000 total compensation of a full-time CTO, CIO, or CISO. We always begin with a free discovery consultation before proposing anything.
An MSP keeps your systems running — reactive, operational work. Cavalier provides strategic executive leadership: deciding what to build, what to buy, where to invest, and how technology should evolve. We sit in your leadership meetings and hold accountability for technology strategy. These roles complement each other; we often work alongside your existing MSP.
Most engagements begin within two to three weeks of the initial consultation. The first 30 days focus on a technology assessment, which delivers immediate value regardless of the engagement length.
Yes. While we are headquartered in Tampa Bay and offer in-person availability throughout the region, many of our most successful engagements are fully remote. We have served clients across Florida and throughout the United States.
Our sweet spot is organizations between 15 and 250 employees — large enough to have complex technology decisions, but not yet large enough to justify a full-time executive salary. We also work with nonprofits of any size, and with M&A buyers on specific due diligence engagements.
